2020 Manatee District Program Kickoff

Scouters:

Believe it or not it is time to plan for a new year of scouting. What it will look like is a little difficult to imagine right now considering the situation we are facing, but the program is as resilient as the youth and adults who are involved and a small amount of positivity can go a long way We’ve survived the pandemic of 1918, two world wars, and other challenges in the past so we can beat this one, too.

To help get things started and to provide you with the resources needed to have a safe and active program, our district’s annual PROGRAM KICKOFF is scheduled to take place VIRTUALLY on the evening of THURSDAY, AUGUST 6TH AT 7:00 PM.

Please note that this is different from what is posted on the official council calendar. The change was made to reduce any conflicts with the Manatee School District’s decision to move school openings to the 17th.

A flyer for the kickoff is attached (Click Here) and includes an active link to the Zoom meeting. I am also including an expanded Zoom invitation for those who may need to join us in a different manner (phone, for example).
