It is my sad duty to inform you that Scouter William Edmond (Bill) Dove, age 91, Bradenton, Florida, died at his home on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

Bill Dove was the first Eagle Scout in Troop 8, having earned his Eagle in 1974, and was the 215th youth in Manatee County to earn the Eagle Badge since 1929. He then became the Scoutmaster of Troop 8 in 1978. He was a member of the Sunny Land Executive for a few years, and earned the Live Oak and Silver Beaver Awards.
